Have you considered a career as an Auditor? Are you interested in applying your expertise across the wider industry and within a highly rewarding environment? If the answer is yes, then BSI are currently building a brand new auditor team for our product certification business and have several brand new positions available across the UK. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced auditor or industry professional to join BSI's Product Certification team as we embark on this exciting period of growth.
As a BSI auditor you will support clients through their assessment process with us to achieve certification to Kitemark and various Product Testing specifications. No two days are the same; we serve a wide range of clients from SME to global brands across broad industry sectors, and with opportunities to work onsite at client locations and remotely. Our auditors are responsible for taking clients through their audit process and once completed, you’ll be responsible for creating the report and presenting your findings; ultimately helping our clients to improve.
For this role: We’re looking for someone who already has a good level of knowledge and experience in more than one industry sector, ideally having knowledge of ISO9001 (but not essential), we offer comprehensive training and development to help you build your skill set and audit techniques. The important thing is that you’re a great communicator, agile in your approach, resilient and supportive.
Our Product Certification business audits across varied sectors and manufacturing environments and would be particularly interested in speaking with people with experience in:
- Construction product manufacturing
- Electrical & electronics manufacturing
- Gas product manufacturing
- Personal protective equipment manufacturing
- Fire safety equipment manufacturing
- Built environment
- BIM
Experience in auditing against the following schemes would be highly beneficial:
- UKCA
- CE
- IECEE CB
- PAS 2080
