Communications Audit UK Limited is a market leader in the design and manufacture of state-of-the-art radio and data communications systems based in the Cheltenham area. To support our continued expansion, we are looking for a software engineer to join our Spectra software engineering team in order to further enhance the company’s design and development capabilities. Spectra software performance is at the core of our products and services, enabling us to offer highly technical solutions to the user community. The evolution and development of this capability are key to our company's success. This role focuses on the development of the Spectra suite of applications, as well as system build and configuration. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining the next generation of radio monitoring software. CommsAudit continues to win high-profile contracts and has ambitious plans for future development. Now is an ideal time to join the team and influence the direction of product development.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have a 2:1 degree or better in an engineering or numerical science discipline and 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Experience with C++ and development on Linux is essential.
  • Experience with any of the following is desirable:
  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
  • Software Defined Radio (SDR)
  • High Performance Computing (HPC)
  • Version control systems (e.g., Git or SVN)
