I am working with a insurance company who are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis. This is a full time, temporary position for a number of weeks to help with work-load. This vacancy is based in Lancaster and will involve cleaning up the ledger and ensuring accurate financial records.

Your new role

Within this role your duties will include ledger management, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date. Conducting detailed financial analysis to support decision-making, utilize Oracle software for financial management and reporting processes. Performing regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy. You will also assist the finance team with various accounting tasks as needed.

What you’ll need to succeed

To succeed, it is a necessity that you have worked in a similar role before so you have a good understanding of the work required from you. If you are AAT qualified, this is desirable but not essential. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent analytical skills and experience with Oracle systems.
