About the role:

The primary goal is to lead a team to establish and maintain a robust oversight framework for Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) in the UK, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, international standards, and regulatory requirements, with a focus on delivering Good Customer Outcomes. This role is part of the UK Claims Leadership Team, overseeing TPA operational performance and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance claims processes, work instructions, reporting, and governance strategies to oversee TPAs and reduce reputational and conduct risks.
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities in TPA management and champion solutions in collaboration with other claims teams and business functions.
  • Lead regulatory and compliance projects related to TPA oversight and manage the GLISE Claims Change and Process Improvement portfolio.
  • Manage projects according to Change Management Framework principles, focusing on TPA compliance and performance.
  • Create internal reporting frameworks to assist Claims Managers in TPA performance oversight.
  • Line manage a team of Claims reporting and MI specialists, utilizing Group Analyst Specialists for TPA oversight initiatives.
  • Maintain a consistent reporting framework and IT tools for management and Board monitoring of TPA performance.
  • Oversee the delegation of claims authority to TPAs, ensuring high standards of claim performance and service in line with company and regulatory standards.

This role is crucial in ensuring UK TPAs operate compliantly and efficiently, supporting claims management excellence and customer outcomes while minimizing risks.
