The successful candidate will work with experienced project managers on projects including sewer studies, rehabilitation, new sewer design, water distribution, treatment, and pump stations in the Mid-Atlantic.

Responsibilities include delivering quality engineering evaluations and designs efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior engineers to develop construction plans and specifications.
  • Assist in developing technical evaluation memoranda.
  • Prepare engineering cost estimates.
  • Create design drawings using 3D tools.

Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, build team relationships, and maintain positive interactions.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic design, water/wastewater treatment processes, engineering economics, specifications, and report writing.
  • Organized with excellent communication skills; flexible to meet tight schedules.
  • Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, ArcGIS, MS Project is a plus.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • 0-4 years of experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • Passing score on NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
  • 2-4 years related experience.
