Role Overview
As Operations Commercial Lead, you will drive the development and refinement of Apex Group’s internal pricing structures and practices, ensuring consistency across rate cards, fee frameworks, and repricing initiatives. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Finance, Technology, and other teams to align strategic pricing objectives with operational delivery. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with senior stakeholders, while optimizing commercial processes within Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Rate Card Development: Support the design and refinement of rate cards, integrating global standard pricing and local market variations. Ensure the latest rate card logic is reflected in proposal templates and relevant systems, working closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.
- Revenue & Monetization Initiatives: Contribute to strategic pricing programs, providing data validation and impact analysis. Propose and help implement repricing initiatives supporting revenue goals and operational feasibility.
- Commercial Process Optimization (Salesforce & CPQ): Serve as an Operations stakeholder for enhancements and rollouts in Salesforce/CPQ. Translate pricing and packaging logic into scalable system configurations, engaging with cross-functional teams to maintain a single source of truth for commercial data.
- Service Monitoring & Enablement: Champion the use of internal service monitoring tools to enhance visibility into operational performance. Promote consistent tool usage and data accuracy to reduce manual processes and align stakeholders.
- Business Analysis & Project Coordination: Gather business requirements from senior stakeholders, coordinate initiatives, manage timelines, and leverage data insights to identify bottlenecks and propose improvements.
Skills & Experience
- Analytical and technical aptitude, with familiarity with Salesforce, CPQ, and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI) being highly desirable.
- Experience interpreting business logic and translating it into structured, system-ready processes.
- Background in financial services or related industries, preferably in revenue operations, pricing, or commercial projects.
- Ability to connect strategic pricing with service delivery constraints.
- Stakeholder coordination skills, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across multiple teams.
- Proven ability to streamline workflows and drive adoption of central systems.
