The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This is an exciting development opportunity to be part of our Training and Competence Assurance team based in Norwich. This position plays a key role in the ongoing operation and review of the Company's Competence Management System (CMS) across Perenco UK. The role involves working within the Competence Assurance Team to ensure effective communication and integration of the CMS at all organizational levels and locations. The position requires close collaboration with the HR and QSSHE Teams to ensure the CMS aligns with the Perenco Learning & Development Policy and Safety Critical Competencies management. The role is based in Norwich, working Monday to Friday, with occasional site visits.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist in implementing changes to the CMS across all sites and roles.
  • Monitor and intervene to ensure integration of changes within operations.
  • Act as an 'Internal Verifier' by sampling and auditing assessments during site visits.
  • Contribute to the development of the CMS based on feedback.
  • Monitor 'core' positions, defining safety-critical roles and scope.
  • Collect and share competency performance data, ensuring standards are met.
  • Collaborate with HR on CMS activities.
  • Develop competency roles and standards for un-captured positions in partnership with relevant teams.
  • Plan and implement interventions for CMS compliance issues.
  • Provide training and support to assessors and stakeholders during CMS rollout.
  • Deputise for the Lead Competence Assurance Advisor when needed.

Qualifications / Experience / Personal Attributes:

  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Independent worker with knowledge of Competency Assurance.
  • Capable of leading projects with minimal supervision.
  • Influential and capable of driving change.
  • Willing to travel to other onshore and offshore sites.
