Solutions Architect - Insurance - Hybrid

Solutions Architect London Insurance Market City, London/ Hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office) Contract 6 months initially £700 per day inside IR35 A new contract opportunity has arisen for a Solution Architect to join a well respected London Market Insurer and design how their systems and components fit together across the business. You will make sure what they build is scalable, secure, and aligned with their tech strategy. This role adds technical oversight across multiple teams, unblocking delivery and removing over-reliance on a single Enterprise Architect. You will support futureproofing of systems and ensure good integration between platforms. You will help shape architectural principles that support my client\’s next phase of growth. Responsibilities: Define and evolve systems architecture across key platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and well-integrated design standards. Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to unblock delivery and manage workload and prioritization with the enterprise architect. Document architecture designs and rationale for key decisions, and maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, and decision logs.
