Role Overview
The Maritime Assistant team supports the Maritime and wider Carnival UK teams by managing contractor and visitor access during port calls. Reporting to the Manager, Maritime Services, the role ensures visitors and contractors can board ships efficiently and securely, completing all necessary legal and security checks. This admin-focused role requires exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Using business tools to organize contractor visits
- Coordinating with the maritime team to facilitate visits
- Providing administrative support, including travel arrangements
- Participating in ARC meetings to coordinate visits and resolve conflicts
This role is classified as CUK15, full-time, permanent, with hybrid work options (up to two days remote).
