We are seeking an experienced digital Product Manager to assist the Product Owner on our fast-paced change agenda covering deliveries and enhancements related to InvestBM, which is Brooks Macdonald’s internal and external facing portal. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the future development of key enhancements on our portal. The individual in this role will act as a subject-matter expert for the portal and have a good understanding of how it interacts and links with other systems across the Brooks Macdonald architecture.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist the Product Owner with all aspects of enhancements including roadmaps, requirements, liaising with key stakeholders and releases to ensure the product is fit for purpose and continues to evolve.
- Assist with writing BRDs & BDDs to be submitted for potential enhancements.
- Review design specifications for new enhancements against the requirement and provide feedback.
- Co-ordinate end user testing, gathering and acting on all feedback received.
- Work collaboratively with third party developers to ensure enhancements are fit for purpose and to resolve any BAU issues, and any defects or issues that arise during testing.
- Provide training, support and guidance to staff and stakeholders on how to interact with the portal, and act as the second line of defence for any issues.
- Ensure that full governance is completed of any new enhancements.
- Update user guides in line with new functionality and support all users with new functionality.
- Conduct regression and acceptance testing following the release of new enhancements.
- Attend weekly project and stage gate meetings where required.
- Perform role always ensuring adherence to the expected behaviours stated in the FCA Conduct Rules.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in product management and development within a front office Financial Services environment.
- Comfortable working under pressure, managing deadlines and/or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements.
- Proven ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
- Ability to pick up new areas of knowledge and quickly become an expert.
- Demonstrable experience of client centric design practices.
- Experience of running a change management program or delivering and growing a digital web-based platform.
