Job Responsibilities
- System Diagnostics & Repair – Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split systems.
- Preventative Maintenance – Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure peak system performance and longevity.
- Customer Communication – Clearly explain issues, solutions, and maintenance tips to homeowners in a professional and courteous manner.
- Documentation – Accurately complete service tickets, maintenance checklists, and parts usage reports.
- Emergency Service – Provide timely, effective service during on-call rotations for after-hours or weekend emergencies.
- Team Collaboration – Work alongside dispatch, customer service, and installation teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Safety Compliance – Adhere to all safety procedures and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Technical Growth – Stay updated on the latest HVAC technologies, codes, and best practices through ongoing training.
Qualifications
- Experience – 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred.
- Problem-Solving Skills – Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical HVAC issues.
- Customer-Focused – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Technical Knowledge – Proficient with low-voltage wiring, refrigerant charging, and combustion testing.
- Physical Requirements – Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
- Licenses – Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; EPA certification preferred.
