Global Executive Trading Underwriter – Salary of Circa £40,000 – £50,000

We are looking for a Global Executive Trading Underwriter. This role would suit someone with strong experience of Property underwriting or Property Investors Underwriting.

A bit about the job:

This role is for a Property underwriter to join the market leading Property Investors Aviva team. You will make day to day decisions operating within agreed guidelines and authority levels to profitably underwrite your own portfolios and actively pursue new opportunities.

The successful applicant will partner with brokers and customers to truly understand their wants & needs. This role can be based in either our London offices and you will be expected to meet brokers for face to face negotiations.

You will have a willingness to drive your own personal development – technically & behaviourally – and will have full support in achieving your ambitions.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Property underwriting experience with a good knowledge of underwriting processes
  • Face to face broker or customer experience, including a proven ability to negotiate
  • Ability to analyse complex information and draw out the relevant facts
  • Strong attention to detail with a positive attitude towards embracing change
  • Good skills in Excel and PowerPoint

What you’ll get for this role:

  • Salary of Circa £40,000 – £50,000 depending on skills, experience and qualifications
  • Bonus opportunity – 8% of annual salary. Actual amount depends on your performance and Aviva’s.
