Here at West Bromwich Albion Football Club, we have exciting opportunities to be part of the Academy Match Day team as a Match Day Co-Ordinator . The main purpose of this role is to provide support for the day-to-day operations of the academy, with a particular focus on matchdays. About The Candidate Your main responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following: Match day coordination of all U9 β U18 fixtures at West Bromwich Albion Academy and West Bromwich Albion Training Ground, including home fixtures at additional sites (e.g., Floodlit Cup Games). Flexibility to work across the week and throughout the season to support fixtures for different age groups, including Saturday and weekend fixtures, as well as mid-week fixtures as they occur. Provide administrative and operational support for the Academy Operations team, both prior to and following fixtures, ensuring all arrangements for match days are in place and the game programme is completed successfully. Collaborate with Academy Security and stewarding teams to ensure smooth match day operations, including parking, site access, and management of controlled zones and restricted areas. Set up relevant changing rooms and update pitch and notice boards on match days. Act as the first point of contact for visiting teams, greeting away team staff and players upon arrival. Meet and greet match officials, facilitate refereesβ briefings, and coordinate payment of fees. Support the completion, sharing, and distribution of team sheets within required timeframes. Manage spectators, providing guidance and directions to pitches, toilets, family rooms, and refreshments. Facilitate pitch inspections if necessary. Monitor adherence to codes of conduct for players, parents, and spectators. Provide weekly feedback to the Academy Administration Manager and Head of Academy Operations, including immediate reports following any incidents. Attend all in-service training sessions and meetings as required. Maintain up-to-date safeguarding training and DBS checks in line with FA and Club policies. Adhere to club policies, especially regarding safeguarding children and equality. Report any breaches of discipline to the Academy Manager. Complete all necessary paperwork as requested by the Academy Manager, The Premier League, or FA. Liaise with parents when required. Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned.
