The role
We are seeking a dedicated Software QA Tester to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. As a Software QA Tester, you will be responsible for various types of manual testing (regression, functional, non-functional, integration, end-to-end) as well as developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance across various platforms.
This role requires a keen eye for detail, a systematic approach to problem-solving, and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify quality needs and objectives early in the development lifecycle.
Your contributions will directly impact our product's quality and user satisfaction. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to recommend process improvements and participate in the continuous enhancement of our QA processes.

Requirements
What you'll do
- Developing, maintaining, and executing detailed manual and automated test scripts for various types of testing across our software suite
- Identify, document, and track bugs or defects in the software using tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers and product management to understand requirements and ensure test coverage
- Perform regression testing, performance testing, and load testing to validate software reliability
- Conduct thorough reviews of requirements, specifications, and technical documentation to provide timely feedback
- Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools for efficient testing
- Monitor and report on testing progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards
- Assist in the planning and implementation of new testing strategies as required to reduce the amount of manual testing currently being done
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of virtual machines used for testing purposes
- Collaborate with developers and other members of the QA team to build client facing software release documentation
- Collaborate with the support team in identifying the causes of software faults from a set of fault replication steps
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role
- Familiarity with test automation tools, such as SmartBear, Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, ideally ISTQB foundation certified
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
