KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide support to the Vice President HSE.
- Lead Group Asset Integrity oversight on FPSO & Floating Units.
- Manage relationships with Relevant Petrofac Business Units engaged in Asset Integrity Management.
- Participate and Lead in HSE Audit Programs (Tier 2 / 3, MAHR, or, Pre-Start Up reviews etc.)
- Analyse and trend HSE (Asset Integrity) Review findings.
- Develop & Support the Asset Integrity Bookshelf (Standards, Guidelines & Technical Notes).
- Oversee Corporate Strategy and Standards for marine units.
- Provide input and participate in Asset Integrity review board meetings.
- Interrogate Asset Integrity Key Performance Indicators (Dashboard) and assess performance.
- Support Asset Integrity Framework engagement.
- Lead / Participate in Accident / Incident Investigations.
- Coaching, development and training assigned to regional Asset Integrity personnel.
- Understand the condition of Petrofac Operating assets.
- Maintain and overview of Petrofac operating assets Top Integrity risks / threats.
- Participating in Due Diligence reviews.
- Oversee the transition of marine vessels (FPSOs) to Petrofac operated assets.
- Act as ISM Code Designated Person Ashore (DPA).
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- Engineering Degree with years’ experience (Chartered Engineer: Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, Process, Chemical, Marine preferred).
- Lead Assessor / Assessor qualification.
- Knowledge of materials, fabrication, construction, commissioning, QA, NDT, Design codes etc.
- Experience in technical risk assessment tools (HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, LOPA, SIL etc.)
- Knowledge of Ex. protection philosophies, codes & standards.
- Awareness of Fire & Gas detection and Emergency shutdown systems.
- Experience associated (New-Building & Operations) with Offshore installations (FPSO, FSO, FSU, MODU, MOPU, Semi Subs, Jack-Ups etc.)
- Knowledge of Classification Society Rules and processes.
- Knowledge of Flag State requirements (SOLAS, MODU Code, Tonnage, Load Line, MARPOL, ISM Code, ISPS Code, MLC etc.)
- Knowledge of Shelf State requirements (e.g., Safety Case Regulations, Major Accident Hazards, Safety Critical Elements, Performance standards etc.)
- Knowledge of Flag State requirements for change of Owner and / or Vessel Manager.
- Knowledge of P&I Club requirements.
- Knowledge of Tanker Offload planning & operations.
- Self-Driven. Analytical. Enquiring Mind.
- UK & Overseas travel including occasional offshore visits.
- Flexibility in working hours, when required.
- Strong Presentation Skills.
- Ability to communicate between all Petrofac Business Units and at all levels in the company.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry.
- Experience in Marine related.
