Cornerstone is on the lookout for a driven and self-motivated web project manager here in our growing agency. The ideal candidate will have relevant industry experience, exposure to the web and tech sector and be a capable project manager and client account manager, handling project specifications, quotes, pitches and presentations, alongside briefing, day to day management of teams, project schedules and successful web launches. You will be a natural planner, with great attention to detail, a passion for process and precision, and naturally interested in tech, marketing and all things web. You will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of web projects, from initial discussion and specification, through to final proof and launch, ensuring client and team satisfaction at all stages. Whilst the role does not require an ability to code, a basic understanding of coding principles, UX or marketing would be highly beneficial.

  • Project management – a strong planner, ideally with Prince 2 qualifications or relevant industry experience
  • Commercially aware – Ensuring accurate quoting, estimations and budget management for client projects
  • Detail orientated – A keen eye for detail, consistency and pixel perfect builds
  • Time management and planning – ensuring multiple projects are completed in a polished and streamlined manner within deadlines, ensuring accurate milestone achievement
  • Briefing and brief taking – interpreting client requests and transforming those into a solid and well thought through internal brief
  • Problem solving capabilities – the ability to take complex data, requests or revisions and deliver a solution that is strong, simple and effective
  • Communication – A strong communicator both verbally and written, able to articulate requirements, outcomes and goals succinctly and effectively
  • Planning – A natural planner and organiser both of your own projects and the teams and clients you work with
  • Pitching, presenting and account development
  • Project control, change control, and project risk management and testing processes are maintained

Key Responsibilities

  • End to end management of web projects, from initial client briefing, specification and quote to final proof, launch and completion
  • Gaining a strong grasp of project specifications and requirements from the outset, working with our tech lead and department heads to ensure our solutions deliver on those agreed criteria
  • Client management and brief taking
  • Liaising, planning and coordinating teams across all disciplines, from marketing, creative, PR, digital and development, ensuring the entire web project is managed effectively and efficiently
  • Ensuring processes are followed and key milestones are achieved and delivered on
  • Hosting & domain management – managing our client hosting and domain plans, ensuring they’re fit for purpose, optimised, tracked and billed
  • Demonstrating web functionality and training for clients
  • Content entry, optimisation and recommendations where required to enhance user journeys and site visibility
  • Ensuring we push boundaries whilst maintaining project budgets
  • Testing, user acceptance testing and W3C checks for compliancy
  • Managing day to day client enquiries, briefs and revisions, tracking thoroughly through our planners to successful completion
  • Providing client status updates, both internally and externally
  • Managing developers across technologies such as WordPress and Laravel
  • Constantly improving our website delivery process with our technical lead and managing director to make us best-in-class
  • Spotting opportunities to grow existing accounts and developing proposals
