Job Description
- The preparation and delivery of VAT advice work, ensuring all technical queries are discussed and resolved with managers during the preparation process.
- Management and administration of the client help desks, responding to quick queries and preparing quotes or responses for sign off.
- Be aware of the opportunity to broaden scope of projects, ensuring potential opportunities are discussed with senior client service team.
- Managing all work within agreed time frame and budget, including responsibility for the appropriate presentation of work to clients.
- Use budgetary information to prioritise and plan tasks ahead of schedule, seeking support when appropriate and ensuring review process is managed.
- Completing all operational and administrative tasks required to ensure effective scheduling, processing and billing of client work, including use of client management system.
- Positively contribute to the marketing and business development efforts of the firm.
- Maintaining technical capability, keeping up to date with latest case law as well as changes in legislation and guidance.
- Sharing in technical discussion and debate with colleagues.
- Any other duties as agreed with the Head of Client Services and/or Line Manager.
