I am a humanistically trained Person-Centred Counsellor. I integrate mindfulness, somatic therapy, and IFS effortlessly into my work with clients. We can only give what we embody, as I believe. I have done deep shadow work (Jungian psychotherapy), delved into intergenerational trauma, and broken chains for myself and my family of origin. I trained in various approaches, including Focusing Oriented Psychotherapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Group Analysis, and more.
Later in life, I trained in shamanism, reiki, energy work, and the power of sacred sounds. In 2019, I received my diagnosis, which was a significant piece of my personal puzzle. Coincidentally, that same year, I experienced a profound shift/awakening in consciousness, opening the door to a deep understanding of neurodivergence as a life force that reveals our innate gifts and promotes mind-body-spirit homeostasis.
I am deeply committed to our community and rooted in presence. If you are neurodivergent and on a spiritual path, this is my niche area of expertise. My work is very body-based and unfolds moment to moment. We collaborate to create safe structures for you to unfold with ease or go with the flow, depending on your preference. I also have training in creative therapies, which I incorporate as needed.
I have been a trainer in psychotherapy for over 14 years, including roles at a local university and as a supervisor trainer. In addition to my psychotherapy practice, I offer neurodivergent-affirming supervision spaces for qualified counsellors, supervisors, and trainers. My work is deeply informed by studies of spirituality and consciousness, which are passionate areas of mine.
I am also a Sound Healing Practitioner with the Voice, integrating voice work to help regulate the nervous system. I offer face-to-face sound healing sessions in Manchester, which have proven to be very relaxing for neurodivergent individuals and a gentle approach overall.
