Learning and Development Manager

Responsibilities: Develop, implement and evaluate employee development plans and programs to support organisational needs such as competency development, management development, talent management, succession planning, technical or non-technical training, or e-learning. Monitor employee development and training programs, assess needs, develop new programs and modify existing programs. Deliver internal learning and development programs. Evaluate effectiveness of all learning and development activities and, where necessary, modify the programs to ensure that needs are fully met. Ensure apprentice programs are properly managed. Manage Educational Assistance applications. Co-ordinate and participate in all onboarding activities. Lead all aspects of the talent management life cycle. Qualifications: CIPD Qualified to level five or above. Experience operating in a learning and development, generalist Human Resource role in a manufacturing/engineering environment is preferable. Good coaching, negotiation and mediation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. A passion for learning and development. Highly motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
