Job Title: Site Manager – Civil Engineering Contractor
Location: North Lanarkshire and surrounding areas

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of major groundworks and roadworks schemes. This is a key position, requiring a proactive individual to ensure the safe, efficient, and successful execution of projects in line with client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:

Health & Safety Leadership: Promote and maintain a safe working environment by enforcing site safety protocols, conducting inductions, and ensuring correct use of PPE

Project Delivery: Oversee projects from commencement to completion, ensuring works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required specification

Team Management: Supervise on-site operatives and subcontractors, fostering a productive and collaborative working environment
- \\n
Client Liaison: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle

Procurement: Manage the timely procurement and delivery of materials, plant, and equipment
- \\n
Site Audits: Carry out regular safety audits in line with company policy and procedures

RAMS and Planning: Prepare and implement Risk Assessment Method Statements and detailed project programmes

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Degree or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering
- \\n
Proven experience as a Site Manager, particularly within groundworks and roadworks projects
- \\n
SMSTS (5 Day), valid CSCS card, and First Aid certification
- \\n
Temporary Works Co-ordinator/Supervisor certification (desirable)
- \\n
Strong project planning ability, with experience preparing both short- and long-term programmes
- \\n
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
- \\n
Sound commercial and contractual understanding within a civil engineering context
- \\n
Thorough knowledge of current health and safety regulations
- \\n
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- \\n
Full, valid UK driving licence
