Calling all immediately available engineers. Huge opportunity to work for a top company conducting a multi-million pound refurbishment of a prestigious banking building in Canary Wharf. The company is looking for individuals who can start as soon as possible on an initial fixed-term contract with a high likelihood of extension. There is also a strong possibility of internal transfer, providing a great foot in the door with a leading engineering firm.
Responsibilities include:
- Operating as part of the project integration team supporting a 24/7 refurbishment project.
- Managing fire system isolations and impairments.
- Supporting safe system operations, managing isolations, and coordinating trade contractors during work activities.
- Liaising with on-site teams to plan and execute works coherently and safely.
- Monitoring systems for full operational status, witnessing re-commissioning, snagging, and handover processes.
- Overseeing QHSE compliance during tasks.
- Ensuring project works do not impact normal operations.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Ensuring project activities comply with health and safety policies.
- Attending project meetings.
- Monitoring installation and removal of systems.
- Providing data and information support to the client.
- Using safe systems of work for all activities.
