Our client is a globally recognised and award-winning tour operator, offering luxury holidays to Asia and South America. They are looking to recruit an office junior who is an enthusiastic and efficient communicator with an eye for detail and excellent organisational and team-working skills. The role will be primarily supportive for the reservations team. The ideal candidate will be versatile enough to maintain an effective communication channel between customers, agents, and the team, along with assisting with writing up quotes, final documents, and general administration duties. This position would be perfect for a school leaver or someone looking to get into the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring and management of post sales enquiries
- Arranging write-ups of itineraries for the Tailor-Made department
- Corresponding via email daily
- Loading and checking passenger data with great accuracy
- Communicating with internal and external partners
- Generating invoices
- Conducting conversations with customers via our Live Chat function
Additional duties: support to the Groups department
Skills Required:
- Outstanding telephone manner
- Motivated and proactive individual with a strong team ethic
- Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
