About the Role
We are looking for an energy market reporter to join our editorial team, covering developments in renewables, natural gas, LNG, electricity, crude oil or hydrogen. Supported by our editorial and analyst teams, you will break news, assess prices and produce analytical content. You will attend and speak at industry events, engaging with and nurturing key contacts. International travel is encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Staying up-to-date on current events and trends in the industry.
- Collaborating closely with other business functions at ICIS and contribute ideas related to new coverage and services.
- Covering a portfolio of energy markets in Europe.
- Writing insightful, compelling news and market analysis and assessing prices.
- Building and nurturing an international network of industry contacts.
- Reporting on complex topics in an engaging and timely manner including use of data visualisations.
Requirements
- Experience of price/commodities reporting experience or knowledge of energy markets would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Display inquisitive mind.
