Are you an ambitious senior account executive with a passion for rare diseases? We have an opportunity for you to join a fast-paced and innovative publications account supporting a patient-centric global client.

The role involves managing client and expert relationships, developing proposals, proactively managing budgets and timelines, and collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver impactful publications and related enhanced content in the field of rare diseases. You’ll have the opportunity to work on projects, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress materials and digital resources, for a publications account of high significance to AMICULUM. You can choose to work from any of our UK offices or completely remotely from anywhere in the UK or Ireland.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working as part of an account handling team supporting a publications client in rare diseases
  • Driving the delivery of projects to a high standard, on time and within the agreed budget
  • Leading on smaller projects and key elements of larger initiatives, managing timelines, budgets and resources effectively
  • Acting as the key point of contact for clients, medical experts and third-party suppliers, building effective and efficient partnerships rooted in trust
  • Providing seamless logistical support, ensuring clear communication and a positive experience
  • Contributing to account-level project planning, financial management and knowledge sharing
  • Contributing to organic growth of the accounts, supporting the generation of ideas and the development of new project proposals
  • Establishing and building positive long-term relationships with client teams and medical experts
  • Building collaborative partnerships across internal teams

What you’ll need:

  • Previous client services experience at a healthcare communications agency, including support for publications projects
  • A strong background in the life sciences
  • A drive for delivering work of the highest quality
  • An enthusiasm for working collaboratively within a team
  • A highly organized, proactive and solution-focused approach
  • The ability to maintain excellent attention to detail while working on multiple projects
  • The ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Experience with publications management systems
