Our client, a well-established construction and engineering company, is looking for a skilled and dedicated Tractor Operative to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Safe operation of plant machinery to complete tasks
  • Daily inspections and maintenance of plant machinery
  • Accurate completion of weekly timesheets, ensuring authorisation by the customer representative
  • Following all company and site Health & Safety regulations
  • Reporting any issues (machine or site) to the Hire Office
  • Wearing relevant PPE correctly at all times
  • Representing the company in a professional manner

The company has experienced significant growth in its Soil Stabilisation division, working with market leaders and government-backed projects. With a dedicated team of experienced operators working nationwide, they deliver first-class service and expertise.

The Candidate: We pride ourselves on high levels of customer service and professionalism. We expect our operators to:

  • Arrive on-site on time and prepared to start as required
  • Communicate effectively with site management and company management
  • Follow instructions from site management
  • Operate plant machinery safely and competently
  • Maintain high skill levels with safe working practices
  • CSCS Health and Safety Certification
  • Relevant CPCS Plant Operator Card
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
