Full-time EDT Devices practice in Bristol operates globally, primarily in Europe, the USA, and Asia, specialising in conformance testing solutions for the broadcast, media, and consumer electronics industry. We have extensive expertise in R&D, delivering bespoke professional tools to broadcasters, TV operators, standards organisations, and consumer electronics manufacturers.

Day to day we operate a flat structure, collaborating across the team, and though we have the benefits of operating within a larger organisation, we have control over all the development tooling, processes, and practices that we follow, where all members of the team contribute towards methodology improvements, our product set, and helping to investigate and innovate on new product ideas.

Eurofins Digital Testing (EDT) is on the lookout for a Project Manager / Project Lead candidate to join a practice specialising in the development of software testing products within a world-leading testing company, in a team of great and supportive people where working together we can make a difference to company successes.

Modern office located in Central Bristol, committed to hybrid working both home and onsite, in the long term. Close collaboration with all major brands in the Broadcast industry, developing ways to test new technologies. YOU NEED TO:

  • Have an ability to take ownership of a product line, to lead product development projects and lead new product investigation R&D activities.
  • Be able to help support the technical team both within external standards organisation engagements and internally on product design and implementation details.
  • Preferably have familiarity with CI, TDD, Agile methodologies and tools such as SVN/GitHub, Jira, Redmine.
  • Preferably have a software development background – this role will very much suit someone taking early steps on the project leading path and still close to the technology and guiding design decisions.
  • Preferably have some experience of working with international standards.
  • Would be desirable to have familiarity with broadcast standards (such as DVB, MPEG) and/or media tools such as FFMPEG.
