About the Company
Our client is a leading provider of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) solutions, delivering high-quality services across commercial, industrial, and residential projects. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and innovation, they are committed to excellence in everything they do. They are looking for a well-experienced M&E Contracts Manager to join their operations team based in West Thurrock. Their project values range from 50,000 - 22 million and are located in and around London and Southeast. This successful candidate will need to travel to sites in and around London as required by the Operations Team.
Duties:
- Manage full M&E packages from inception through to completion.
- Oversee procurement of materials, coordination of labour, and management of specialist subcontractors.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Take responsibility for project financials including valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Attend and lead progress meetings with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
- Provide clear communication across project teams and maintain high standards of site safety and compliance.
- Run multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all contractual, commercial, and operational objectives are met.
- Report directly into the Operations Manager with regular progress reports required for all sites.
Requirements:
- You will have worked in the M&E industry as a Contracts Manager.
- Excellent understanding of mechanical and electrical building services.
- Ideally you would be qualified to ONC/HNC/HND or degree in building services or equivalent relevant to the industry.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across London and the South East.
- Being able to run multiple projects at once.
