We are looking for a PR Executive to support our growing awareness in Europe. You will work closely with key stakeholders including senior country and product stakeholders to support campaigns that help attract media attention and drive media coverage. There is never a shortage of messages to focus on or inspiration to take from Zoho PR teams all around the world, which makes this a fast-paced and exciting role and one that offers the opportunity to grow and learn daily.
The role will involve:
- Supporting the European PR lead in driving a strategic PR and communications programme which supports Zoho's business goals in the region.
- Working in alignment with marketing and social media team members to ensure programmes support each other's activities in reaching the right audiences with the right messages at the right time.
- Working with PR agencies to ensure they are equipped with the right information to help them drive success, reviewing their content, monitoring their progress against goals.
- Writing media content, whether it be blogs, comments, articles, or press releases.
- Researching new publications and channels to help drive wider media reach.
- Assisting with the analysis and monitoring of campaigns in order to determine success.
- Assisting with management of media interviews and attendance at Zoho or other industry events.
- Assisting with the development of creative ideas to enhance PR campaigns.
- Managing and organising projects effectively and in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of PR or related experience, with a technology or software company (others may be considered).
- A keen interest in and passion for how technology and innovation can transform business.
- Strong relationships with technology and business-focused journalists and a good understanding of how media publications work with PR.
- Excellent communication skills and a resilient mindset to succeed with media engagement.
- Excellent proven writing skills across a range of types of content.
- A creative mind partnered with the ability to find the best practical solutions that are efficient and effective.
- Able to build strong personal relationships and to engage meaningfully with colleagues, journalists, and other stakeholders important to Zoho.
- A self-motivated go-getter who is happy to be managed remotely in order to achieve goals.
- Native fluency in English.
- Willingness to learn from others and to self-improve.
This person will be working from our office in Milton Keynes, UK but the role at times will also involve travel to our international headquarters in Chennai, India or to the European offices, to learn more about Zoho and to engage with various teams.
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour working week, 25 annual leave days, a permanent contract, an attractive and competitive salary, pension contributions, an entrepreneurial and supportive environment with opportunities for career progression into senior and leadership roles, and the opportunity to work with and learn from teams in marketing, product development, sales, customer services/support, and partnerships management.
