General Farm Worker / Tractor Driver / Arable Spayer Operator is sought for a 5th generation arable / food and farming business in Lincolnshire. PLEASE NOTE: Candidates MUST have their own transport as you will be travelling from field to field within a 10 mile radius of Holbeach Hurn, Lincolnshire. SALARY: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum LOCATION: Holbeach Hurn, Lincolnshire and surrounding areas as you will be expected to travel from field to field to carry out your duties within a 10 mile radius of Holbeach Hurn, Lincolnshire. As the General Farm Worker / Tractor Driver / Arable Spayer Operator you will be a hardworking and reliable individual with a passion for agriculture. Working as the General Farm Worker / Tractor Driver / Arable Spayer Operator you will be responsible for a range of duties, including operating modern machinery such as Fendt and New Holland tractors, carrying out precision spraying operations, and contributing to all aspects of arable farming. DUTIES Your duties and responsibilities as the General Farm Worker / Tractor Driver / Arable Spayer Operator include: The farming business operates a modern fleet of Fendt and New Holland tractors equipped with GPS and this role will encompass all areas of the business including Cultivations, Drilling, and Harvesting. Follow all H&S systems including Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work and report any areas of concern. Ensure equipment is maintained to the highest standards. Assist with tasks such as yard and equipment maintenance. Aid other areas of the farming operations if required. Maintain and keep up to date records required by the Farm Manager to provide full traceability and ensure audit compliance etc. There will be good opportunities for development within the total farming operation for candidates that are looking to the future. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS Self-motivated individual, who can work to a high standard on their own initiative. Be willing to support all entities of the farming business. Ability to work alone or as part of a team. Attention to detail with a strong work ethic and willingness to embrace challenges. An interest in modern farming practices. Spraying experience, PA1 and PA2 qualifications are advantageous. Full driving licence essential. Teleporter and forklift licences would be beneficial.
