The role involves overseeing a large number of properties nationwide, with travel required to support property management and maintenance, approximately 1-2 days per week, with occasional overnight stays. Job responsibilities Plan preventative maintenance for all properties and ensure daily maintenance is up to date. Produce technical reports after building surveys for planned/reactive maintenance. Create specifications for defects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Find and oversee contractors to ensure quality standards from start to finish. Monitor budgets and approve invoices. Coordinate with consultants and landlords to meet building regulations and project goals. Be available outside of office hours for emergencies. Candidate requirements Experience in surveying, building, or construction is preferred but not essential. Essential: Property Maintenance experience. Background in construction, engineering, or maintenance is desirable. Flexible travel availability. Ability to manage own schedule. Willingness to undertake further training for development.
