Your new role
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the Technical Management and Leadership of all the Engineering Disciplines and will report directly to the Engineering Director. You will manage a team inclusive of Process, Electrical Control and Instrumentation, Mechanical, Piping, and Civil, Structural disciplines. You will have approximately 15 direct reports and will handle line management activities such as utilization, holidays, expenses, and performance reviews.
What you’ll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you should be an experienced Engineering Manager or an experienced Principal Engineer looking to progress. Desirable experience in Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Power, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, or Energy sectors is preferred. Good knowledge across all disciplines is desirable. You should demonstrate the ability to work across different specialisms and understand cross-discipline and department interactions in an engineering contracting or consultancy company.
