We are seeking a skilled HV Power Systems Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and optimization of high-voltage electrical systems. This role involves conducting advanced dynamic studies, such as Dynamic Voltage Control, Reactive Power Stability, Fault Ride Through, Fast Fault Current Injection, and Frequency Response (LFSM/FSM) studies. Additionally, the candidate will support model validation and verification post-commissioning. Proficiency in AutoCAD and advanced analysis tools such as ETAP, PSCAD, DigSILENT, PowerFactory is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and refine high-voltage system layouts using AutoCAD.
- Dynamic Voltage Control and Reactive Power Stability studies.
- Fault Ride Through (FRT) and Fast Fault Current Injection analysis.
- Frequency Response Studies – LFSM (Limited Frequency Sensitive Mode) and FSM (Frequency Sensitive Mode).
- Load flow, short-circuit, harmonic analysis, and transient stability simulations.
- Conduct model validation and verification post-commissioning to ensure compliance and performance.
- Analyse HV equipment performance and interaction with grid systems under diverse conditions.
- Prepare and deliver detailed technical reports, models, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD for HV system design.
- Experience with power system analysis tools such as ETAP, PSCAD, or DigSILENT PowerFactory.
- Strong expertise in dynamic studies for high-voltage networks.
