My client are seeking a dedicated and skilled Working Joinery Foreman to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in fit out, shopfitting, and general construction roles. This position will involve working on projects nationwide and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate all joinery and fit out activities on construction sites
- Manage and supervise a team of joiners and carpenters
- Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards and within project timelines
- Collaborate with project managers and site managers to plan and schedule work
- Enforce health and safety regulations and best practices on site
- Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any issues encountered
Day-to-day
As a Working Joinery Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing all joinery and fit out activities on our construction sites. This will involve managing a team of joiners and carpenters, coordinating work schedules, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. You will collaborate closely with project managers and site managers, while enforcing health and safety regulations to create a safe and productive work environment. Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Working Joinery Foreman or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of fit out and shopfitting processes

- Understanding of health and safety regulations in a construction environment
- Trade certification in joinery or carpentry is preferred
- First Aid, SSSTS/SMSTS, CSCS
