We’re looking for a Construction Project Manager to support the delivery of new-build restaurant projects from feasibility through to opening. What you’ll be doing:
- Site Development: Partner with our Acquisitions team and external consultants to assess and evaluate new potential sites.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with franchisees, contractors, and internal departments to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
- Project Delivery: Manage the full lifecycle of multiple projects—from pre-construction to handover—meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
- Financial Control: Own the project budget, secure financial approvals, and keep projects on track financially.
- Compliance & Quality Checks: Carry out site inspections, ensuring builds meet McDonald’s standards and all CDM/regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Coordinate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to drive timely, high-quality outcomes.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience in Construction Project Management, ideally in new build construction, commercial, or retail fit-out.
- Strong experience leading project teams.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including franchisees, developers, and contractors.
- A proactive, analytical mindset—able to make decisions independently.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Project Management software (preferred).
- Driving License: A full, clean driving license is required due to the travel involved across the UK & Ireland.
