About Invest Connect Marketplace: We are a SaaS platform, powered by an AI-driven matchmaking engine, designed to connect entrepreneurs, business advisors, and investors under one digital roof. Our goal? To build an inclusive, accessible, and dynamic ecosystem that helps SMEs thrive, regardless of background or starting point. As we prepare to launch our Minimum Viable Product (MVP), we are now seeking a mission-aligned Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our founding team.

CTO (Tech for Good) - Tech Lead

This is more than just a technical role. It’s a chance to:

• Lead the architecture and development of a purpose-driven platform
• Bring scalable, AI-integrated SaaS products to life
• Shape an ecosystem that levels the playing field for SMEs globally

What We're Looking For:

• Strong backend development experience (emerging tech)
• Familiarity with MVP design and iterative product development
• Passion for AI integration and data-driven platforms
• Commitment to inclusivity, innovation, and impact
• Prior fundraising experience is desirable but not necessary
• Familiar with startup environment, flexible yet assertive

Location: England, UK (Please note it is essential that the candidate is available in London for any major event or investor meeting—possibly a couple of days per month)

Key Responsibilities:

• Technology Strategy: Define and drive the overall technology vision aligned with business goals.
• Product Development: Oversee the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-quality products.
• Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage the engineering and technical teams.
• Tech Infrastructure: Ensure robust, secure, and efficient systems and architecture.
• Innovation: Stay ahead of tech trends to ensure the company leverages cutting-edge tools and practices.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, marketing, and operations to align tech efforts with business needs.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure best practices in code quality, testing, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Budget & Resource Management: Manage technology budgets and optimize resource allocation.
• Scalability & Performance: Plan for growth by building systems that scale and perform under increased demand.
