About the role As a Loss Prevention Partner (LPP) in our Profit Protection team, you\βll add value to the efficiency and profitability of the shop where you are based and be an integral part of the team. You\βll investigate trends and report on key themes regarding shrinkage to protect our profits. You\βll also patrol the shop floor to deter theft and monitor CCTV for suspicious behaviour. Due to the nature of the role, you need to be 18 years or older. You\βll work on a rota, including evenings and weekends. At a glance: The salary range is Β£26,500 β Β£38,000 for a full-time position at 37.5 hours/week. The stated salary will be pro-rated for this part-time role (25 hours/week). This is a permanent part-time role, working on a rota with various shifts. Must be 18 or older due to job nature. Subject to pre-employment screening: 5-year reference check, Basic Disclosure, and financial probity check. Internally known as Loss Prevention Partner. Key Responsibilities Be a point of contact for profit protection issues and escalate when necessary. Mitigate malicious harm risks to Partners and Customers. Manage shrinkage within budget and risk appetite. Address all aspects of shrinkage: dishonesty, procedural failure, and errors. Support and coach Partners to minimise shrinkage. De-escalate conflicts professionally, including detaining or banning offenders if needed. Support investigations as required. Essential skills/experience Excellent communication skills. Confidence in resolving conflicts. Attention to detail to spot trends and profit loss signs. Good customer service and relationship skills. Desirable skills/experience Experience in loss prevention or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not essential; training will be provided.
