Job Description Job Title: Medical Device Lead Auditor – Non-active, Sterile Job Type: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week Location: Field-based (UK – South) Travel: Within the UK, a company car or allowance provided Salary: From £65,000 As part of SGS, you will be eligible for benefits such as a retention bonus scheme, private medical cover, a competitive pension, life assurance, and generous annual leave. The role involves planning and conducting audits of sterile medical devices, ensuring compliance with EU and UK regulations and ISO 13485 standards. Candidates should be approved as Medical Device Regulatory Lead auditors. Full training will be provided to those with relevant knowledge and experience in medical device design, manufacture, and sterilisation techniques. Key Accountabilities Conduct audits at customer sites and remotely, maintaining high service standards. Lead or work within audit teams to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction. Complete work within budget and timeframes. Handle specific projects related to medical device procedures and documentation. Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of experience in designing, manufacturing, or testing medical devices, including 2 years in Quality Management or Regulatory Affairs. A relevant degree in sciences or engineering is required. Knowledge of medical device regulations, standards, and sterilisation processes is essential. Additional attributes include initiative, planning skills, a full UK driving license, and willingness to travel.
