We’re hiring for an Assistant Buyer to support procurement activities on major station and track renewal projects at Old Oak Common – one of the UK’s most high-profile transport developments. This is a temp-to-perm role with clear progression opportunities and full support for professional development, including CIPS training.

- Hybrid working: 4 days on site at Old Oak Common, 1 day remote

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting Buyers and Senior Buyers in managing procurement for subcontractors and suppliers
- Helping prepare and issue RfQs, support ITT processes, and contribute to supplier selection
- Managing procurement records and assisting with onboarding processes
- Coordinating with commercial and project teams to ensure procurement timelines are met
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a procurement or buying role (rail/infrastructure experience ideal)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Familiarity with procurement systems, processes, and documentation
- Ambition to grow into a Buyer role over time
