Job Details

  • Position: Tax Reporting Manager
  • Location: Woking
  • Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with corporate tax reporting obligations for all Cencora International Group affiliates outside the US, conducting tax reporting activities, and improving processes through technology.
  • Collaborate with the International Tax team on projects and transactions, and gain exposure to corporate tax and transfer pricing.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Prepare tax provision schedules and communicate complex calculations to non-tax executives.
  2. Maintain and update UK tax provision files in collaboration with the UK tax team.
  3. Understand local tax provisions and perform reconciliations.
  4. Maintain a tax risk register and oversee provisions for uncertain tax positions.
  5. Support integration of new businesses and assist with US tax form collation.
  6. Ensure accounting systems produce accurate data for US tax reporting and seek process improvements.
  7. Help maintain SOX internal controls over tax reporting.
  8. Design efficient data gathering and processing processes using Office 365 tools.
  9. Assist in analyzing the impact of legislation and transactions on tax rates.
  10. Support general corporate tax and transfer pricing matters as needed.

Candidate Specification

  • Undergraduate degree and Chartered Accountant, CPA, or equivalent.
  • Strong work ethic, accountability, and ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in IT, especially Office 365, and ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in tax reporting, ideally in an international firm or multinational company.
  • Knowledge of US tax laws and recent tax legislation is desirable.
