At Siemens Mobility, our Rolling Stock Customer Services business keeps fleets moving. We support the rail industry by delivering maintenance, overhauls, upgrades, and modifications that extend asset life, improve reliability, and ensure performance. You’ll create impact by:
- Leading a high-performing PMO team fully embedded in operations yet focused on best-in-class governance and delivery across a dynamic portfolio.
- Ensuring our projects - ranging from fleet upgrades and depot modernisation to crash repairs and overhaul programmes, meet commercial, safety, and performance expectations.
- Shaping a project delivery framework that aligns with strategic business goals and customer priorities.
- Embedding best-practice tools and methodologies to strengthen consistency, risk management, financial oversight, and resource planning across all project activity.
- Building strong relationships across matrix teams - engineering, commercial, operations, and central PMO functions - and providing visible, hands-on leadership.
- Being flexible to travel and make a tangible impact on the ground.
You’ll break new ground by:
- Having a strong background in project or programme management, ideally leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects in operational or service-led environments.
- Managing commercial risk, project financials, and delivery outcomes across multiple live workstreams.
- Working across matrix organisations, aligning diverse teams to shared outcomes while navigating stakeholder priorities.
- Being ready to become immersed in rolling stock service operations, quickly gaining an understanding of depot environments, fleet requirements, and customer expectations.
- Exhibiting a leadership style that builds capability and trust, brings clarity under pressure, and promotes safety, consistency, and accountability in delivery.
- Having certification or familiarity with structured and reputable project methodologies, and a mindset focused on continuous improvement.
Siemens recognise that building a diverse workforce is critical to the success of our business. We strongly encourage applications from a diverse talent pool and welcome the opportunity to discuss flexibility requirements with our applicants to encourage agile working and innovation.
