The prevocational training program is required to be accredited with the state-based accreditation council β Prevocational Medical Accreditation Queensland (PMAQ). This role will support the MEU in preparing, implementing and maintaining the accreditation of the prevocational training program for Townsville Hospital and Health Service. In addition to the above, the Townsville Hospital and Health Service have recently received accreditation for the AMC Workplace Based Assessments (WBA) Program to commence July 2025. The PMEO will assist the new WBA Program Team in the implementation of the program, including reviewing accreditation requirements and assessor training.
