Finance Consultant (Newly Qualified)

Marks Sattin are delighted to be partnered with a rapidly growing finance advisory firm based in Manchester for the recruitment of a Qualified Accountant to operate as a Finance Consultant within the team. The role will include providing hands on finance and commercial expertise, and to provide support to finance directors and senior teams to assist them through demanding and often unusual periods of change. Typically, you will work with clients during transactions (mergers, acquisitions, disposals, refinancing), also with operational improvement activities (cash flow modelling, forecasting, reporting and KPIs, finance function review and improvement) and to deliver commercial initiatives (costing, procurement, contracting and negotiations). This is an outstanding opportunity for either a highly ambitious first time mover from practice, or an experienced transaction services / corporate finance professional looking to broaden the scope of their workload, or an individual with strong commercial acumen that has trained within industry.
