We have an excellent opportunity available for you to grow your career and make a difference at Birds Eye! As the Customer Operations Manager, you’ll be leading a team of planners, have ownership of one of our top 6 grocery retailer accounts, where you’ll be the point of contact for this customer in all Supply Chain/Demand Planning related matters.
About the role… This is a key role within our Supply Chain team, the primary function of this role is to manage the business forecast with a customer lens, focusing on and improving the accuracy of the 0-12 month forecast horizon. You’ll be required to make sure that all internal stakeholders are updated with timely information (Commercial, Demand Planning, Logistics, Customer Service). You will also be responsible for:
- Alignment of Birds Eye and Customer forecasts through analysis and manipulation of both companies ordering and reporting systems.
- Working with the internal Sales team to review the forecast accurately and phase in line with the agreed customer sales and intake plans.
- Working with customers supply chain teams to effectively plan promotions, NPD, range changes, seasonal changes and to drive the sales plan forward supporting them to improve on shelf availability within their stores.
- Attendance and key input for key S&OP meetings.
- Working collaboratively to lead, facilitate and strengthen the customer relationship while maintaining high standards of service and forecast accuracy.
- Supporting and developing talent - career & Succession Planning.
About you… You’ve previous experience of working in a customer/demand planning environment within an FMCG organization. Used to motivating and managing a team, you’ve a desire for continuous improvements, can prioritise effectively and work under pressure. We look for people who are focused on getting results, embrace learning and bring positive energy, combining initiative with a sense of teamwork and collaboration.
Supervisory/leadership experience. Ability to develop effective working relationships, both internally & externally and be a good team player. Excellent time management skills and organisational skills. High proficiency in Windows/Microsoft based products.
