Role Overview
Reporting to the Head of People, Finance and Operations, you will be the primary contact for all finance-related queries within the organization. Your role involves building strong relationships with colleagues, funders, and suppliers, managing your workload efficiently, and supporting the finance function's continuous improvement. Experience in charity finance is preferred.

Main Responsibilities
- Maintain and process financial data to produce accurate management reports.
- Support organizational budgeting aligned with business plans.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, Gift Aid, and tax return submissions.
- Assist with annual audits, liaising with external auditors to ensure timely and accurate information.
- Maintain and update financial procedures and controls, and provide training through workshops and inductions.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the finance function to uphold robust financial governance.

- Experience with financial systems, especially SAGE 50 and charity accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience working collaboratively within a close-knit team.
