Key Role Overview: This pivotal role will lead the UK Customs & Compliance department and oversee all UK intercompany flows (both inbound and outbound). Additionally, it will support Plant Supply Chain Managers in high-level UK distribution projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Advise the business on mitigating risks and leveraging opportunities from Brexit and other legislations.
- Ensure continuous compliance with all HMRC processes and implement any legislative changes.
- Develop and maintain robust collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
- Manage and coordinate the creation of intercompany offers for affiliates and follow up on outbound activities to grow the UK as an intercompany supplier.
- Support Sales departments across various Business Units in optimising main intercompany purchase routes (inbound).
- Benchmark within the Group to find alternative intercompany suppliers and maximise UK domestic sales margins.
- Coordinate with Plant Supply Chain Managers and the Purchasing department on domestic and export distribution contracts and cost reduction projects.
- Assist the UK Supply Chain Manager in defining, measuring, and improving distribution KPIs (cost and service), including setting MP targets.
- Conduct audits of import and export processes to ensure compliance.
Candidate Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a degree and experience in a Distribution/Supply Chain role covering both domestic and export operations.
