The headteacher and governors of Valley School wish to appoint a dedicated and inspirational deputy headteacher. Valley is a primary special school, including nursery provision, for pupils with a high level of complexity associated with learning, physical and health needs and with autism. Most of our learners are working at a pre-formal level.

We are looking for an experienced school leader who will bring creativity, positivity and a collaborative vision to our outstanding school. Someone who is passionate about education for children with very complex needs and is committed to working with the school community to ensure every pupil has outstanding outcomes. Keeping our children safe is our highest priority and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

The successful candidate will:
