We have an exciting opportunity to welcome a Business Administration Apprentice to Ashfords, a leading South West law firm. As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will support both our Facilities and IT teams by providing essential administrative services to the business.
Our Facilities department consists of our reception team, deeds and archiving and the general facilities team; supporting with all post, reprographics and queries from departments. This role also supports the IT team by assisting the technical team with audio visual equipment set up in our meeting suites, providing equipment fixes and ensuring technical stock are at required levels, organised and ready to use - no two days are the same in this interesting and varied role.
Not only will you be developing professional skills on the job, but you will also be studying for the Level 3 Business Administration qualification through Exeter College to support you throughout your programme with us.
Who you are
Provided that you enjoy communicating with others, you’re a good team player, you love nothing more than being organised and you’re hungry to learn, we can help with the rest! As the role covers both Facilities and IT, an interest in computers and organisation is important. This apprenticeship will be a challenge at times, so a 'can do' and resilient attitude is a must. You’ll need to be prepared to take ownership, prioritise your work and meet deadlines as required.
Your working hours will be 9am - 5.15pm, Monday – Friday, with one study day a week at Exeter College; and you’ll need to be able to get into our office, on the outskirts of Exeter for your days in the office.
