We are looking for a talented Warehouse Planning Manager to join our Warehouse in Speke. Supporting the DC General Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the centre's operations, influencing senior leaders, and ensuring seamless forecasting, planning, and labour management in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately forecast and plan labour requirements to support high-volume operations.
  • Collaborate with the operational team to develop recruitment plans, monitor performance, and align with key KPIs.
  • Analyse planned vs. actual volumes, identifying variances and assessing cost implications.
  • Oversee the Time & Attendance team, ensuring precise tracking of hours to support site performance and colleague pay.
  • Pinpoint recurring issues that drive costs or hinder efficiency, proposing effective solutions.
  • Manage shift patterns and rotas, delivering cost-effective workforce planning.
  • Partner with on-site agency teams, forecast labour needs, and lead weekly planning meetings.
  • Monitor performance trends, leveraging insights to drive improvements and optimise operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in Planning and Performance Management within Logistics, Distribution, or Supply Chain.
  • Exceptional IT skills, particularly in Excel (Power BI experience is a bonus!).
  • Prior exposure to team/shift management or operational roles is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
  • A results-driven, commercially minded professional with excellent people management skills.
