Our client plays a leading role in the electricity transmission grid in Northern Ireland. A purpose-led organisation with plans to transform the power system to enable society to reduce carbon emissions and meet climate change and net zero ambitions.

We are currently seeking an experienced Business & Digital Transformation project manager. This will be a temporary role with an initial 6-month contract. Extensions may be considered based on business needs.

The Role: You will work closely with project managers to deliver various business and digital transformation projects, including the transformation of the business into a separate independent entity in accordance with their licence. Projects are supported by subject matter experts across operations, governance, finance, digital, data, people, networks, innovation, strategy, and regulation.

What we are looking for:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification plus two years of relevant experience, or at least four years of relevant experience in business analysis and/or project management.
  • Proven ability to identify, define, and solve problems.
  • Effective communication skills, especially in high-quality reporting.
  • Experience with MS applications such as SharePoint and Teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with multi-professional teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to coordinate and advance activities of others.
  • A project management qualification such as PRINCE2, Agile certification, or similar.
  • Experience in energy, utility, or a similar complex or regulated environment.
