JOB SUMMARY

Under general supervision of the EMEA Service Manager. Will be working in the UK service lab in High Wycombe. The job will be mainly concerned with the servicing, repair and calibration of hand held or bench top TSI Measuring and monitoring instruments. However, there will be scope to work with other instrumentation from time to time.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess the customers instruments on arrival into the service lab.
  • Keep records, both in SAP and other systems, of all operations carried out.
  • Carry out service, repairs and calibrations to customers instruments following TSI in house work procedures.
  • Communicate well with other members of the service team, to help provide efficient service to our customers.
  • Completes other assignments and special projects as requested.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

  • Required Basic education in Mathematics, English and science.
  • College certificate in electronics servicing or similar.

Experience:

  • 1 or 2 years in the instrument service sector is essential.

Core Competencies:

  • Good computer literacy, accuracy is of paramount importance here.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Above average analytical, decision making, problem solving and research skills.
  • GCSE or equivalent level language, math, reading, writing and reasoning skills.
  • Fluent English language, both spoken and written.
